How to load image from File

import java.io.IOException;

import javax.imageio.ImageIO;
import javax.swing.ImageIcon;
import javax.swing.JFrame;
import javax.swing.JLabel;

public class LoadImageFromFileTest {

  /**

  public static void main(String[] argsthrows IOException {

    File file = new File("C:/Temp/stpatricks_08.gif");
    BufferedImage bufImage = ImageIO.read(file);

    JFrame frame = new JFrame("Image loaded from File");
